For most of us, COVID-19 has flipped our lives upside down. But what if I told you maybe just maybe this is exactly what everyone of us needed.
Before this happened, many of us were racing around trying to get a million things done. This pandemic has had each of ask the question, what is really important? Many of the places we would go beforehand, now we find ourselves asking if it’s a good choice. I have found myself praying more. I even find myself saying a simple prayer before going where other groups will be to know it is a good idea, and I wait till I get that peaceful feeling that tells me it is before going. I’d never really done that before.
Maybe this pandemic is really just what we need. It has also reminded me in the past few weeks that we are not immortal, well-known people are dying and someday we will die too, but what if I told you that death is actually a blessing. It creates a reminder for each of us that we too have a limited amount of time to do our work on this earth, which means that we need to do the work we were meant to do today.
In a wonderful conference that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints had yesterday, one of the speakers mentioned an excellent scripture, “Do Not Procrastinate the Day of your repentance.”
What I heard in this was, do not procrastinate the day of your IMPACT. We are seeing the signs of the times and regardless of that, each of us don’t know if we will be given tomorrow or even the rest of today before we are taken home to that GOD that gave us life.
NOW is the time to do your work, You were put here on this earth for a specific mission. Are you doing it? If not, why not? Don’t you know that other peoples lives will be blessed and also don’t you know that your life will be blessed as you pursue and complete your mission– you know that thing that calls inside of you that no matter how you try and try to push it away just will not leave your heart.
That is your inner voice, and deep inside of you, You know what you are meant to do. Sometimes, we may not know exactly what to do, but as we move forward in our lives with faith, hope and joy it will be opened up unto you.
You are a powerful, powerful child of GOD! You have so much ability and creativity, you have the ability to create anything that you desire, but when you combine that with what GOD can help you do, you become unstoppable.
I understand we need to time to relax and even watch Netflix, but don’t make your quarantine entirely about that. Spend time using this quarantine as a blessing for your life. The more time you spend on this side of the tv, the sooner your life will become what you desire it to be.
It is in the moments of recessions, depressions and other hard times, that massive wealth and purpose is created.
If you are not where you desire to be financially or may have even lost your job, now is the perfect time to start over. Find a problem and create a solution that solves it and makes relieves suffering from Heavenly Father’s children and you will create income. Income is simply impact in others lives.
So now is the perfect pit stop from your crazy life to make sure that you aren’t just driving in circles but that you are moving forward every single day towards that person that you were meant to be, and if you aren’t just make a slight adjustment.
I want you to pay close attention to the feelings that you have had as you have read this article this morning, because your inner voice is calling you and GOD is inviting you to be the best version of yourself.
